Windy Amalfi Engagement...

People often don't realize that Amalfi is actually a little town, the one that gives it's name to the entire Costiera Amalfitana.  It is now a little tourist town but in the 11th and 12th centuries the town was the center of it's own Republic, and a mighty naval power & trade port with North Africa.  The town has stunning Arab-Sicilian architecture and is well worth a visit when visiting this part of Italy...

True love waits...

This was maybe one of the sweetest weddings I have ever photographed.  We so often see love as young and new, two people falling quickly and deeply and then getting married.  But really how romantic is it to have true love wait, isn't it just so lovely that a couple who has been in love for 25 years, who has lived together and who knows every little thing about each other still be so totally enamoured that they decide to get married...in Italy.  That is vero amore...

A week a puglia...
